Kru Max

Kru Max, (Head Muay ThaiCoach) arrived at PKMT as a decorated fighter with an impressive record and multiple belts. What happened next was remarkable: he transformed himself into one of the finest trainers in Thailand and certainly one of the best we’ve ever had working with us.
His greatest strength isn’t his own fighting pedigree, it’s his humility. Kru Max has an almost rare ability to learn from everyone around him, coaches and students alike. He keeps his eyes open, stays curious, and that combination has given him an emotional intelligence that’s hard to match. He knows what you need before you do, and he’ll dedicate himself completely to your development.
At late twenties, Kru Max continues to evolve his coaching philosophy, always refining, always improving. His approach is deeply personal, genuinely kind, and rooted in a real commitment to your growth. He doesn’t just teach technique, he understands the person and puts his heart and soul into helping you become better.
A world-class fighter turned exceptional coach, Kru Max represents the future of elite Muay Thai training. He’s destined to become one of the most respected coaches in the sport.

Kru Ris

We are super proud to have Kru Ris, although young, he is mature and can see what his students need to lear. Only 20 years old, he is still an active fighter, and is rare for a Thai in that he is big and fights at a heavier weight. This makes him perfect for coaching heavier and stronger students.

People speak of his patience and attention to detail. He is very likable and super strong, ideal for bigger customers.

Kru Lob

With countless fights spanning decades, Kru Lob has quite literally seen it all. He’s fought in every era of modern Muay Thai, and that experience has shaped him into something rare: a trainer who is equal parts knowledgeable and genuinely kind.
What sets Kru Lob apart is his patience. He’s the trainer beginners gravitate toward because he refuses to let you move forward until you truly understand what you’re doing. For him, technique isn’t just about hitting pads correctly, it’s about building proper foundations and genuine comprehension. He’s not a pad holder, he’s an educator.
Kru Lob is endlessly generous with his time and knowledge. Ask him anything, and you’ll get a thoughtful answer. In the corner during fights, his calm presence and encyclopedic understanding of technique make him an invaluable guide. Students who train under Kru Lob don’t just improve their skills, they develop a deeper respect for the art itself.
One of PKMT’s most senior and beloved coaches, Kru Lob embodies the teaching philosophy that defines the gym.

Kru Phum

At just 19 years old, Kru Phum is one of the most exciting young talents at Phuket King Muay Thai. With an impressive 40 fights already under his belt, he brings a wealth of ring experience that belies his age.
A natural southpaw with an aggressive, high-pressure style, Kru Phum fights with the kind of passion and intensity that is impossible to ignore. He doesn’t just compete, he studies the art deeply, with a sharp eye for technique and a genuine love for the craft of Muay Thai.
As a trainer, he brings that same energy and attention to detail into every pad session. Students training with him get the rare opportunity to learn from someone who is actively competing at a high level, combining real ring instinct with genuine enthusiasm for helping others improve.
Young, hungry, and dedicated, Kru Phum represents exactly the spirit that Phuket King Muay Thai is built on.

Coach Tom

Coach Tom brings a unique perspective to PKMT. Rather than coming from a fighting background, he arrives with over thirty years of elite-level coaching experience across multiple disciplines. That foundation has shaped everything he does.
What sets Coach Tom apart is his obsessive attention to detail. He brings Western coaching standards and scientific rigour to Muay Thai in ways that elevate the entire gym. His expertise spans technique refinement, injury prevention, power development, and training methodology. He understands that small details, when executed correctly, make the difference between good and exceptional.
Over the last fifteen years, Coach Tom has dedicated himself entirely to Muay Thai and the people who pursue it. As a strength and conditioning coach and FRC mobility specialist, he sees the whole athlete. He designs programmes that build capability, prevent injury, and unlock potential that athletes didn’t know they had.
Coach Tom brings structure, science, and precision to the art. For anyone serious about genuine improvement, his coaching is transformative.
