About DTV Muay Thai Visa

The DTV Visa was introduced in the summer of 2024 and allows the holder to remain in Thailand for 5 years with multiple entry. Each visit allows a stay of up to 180 days and can be obtained by enrolling with an eligible Muay Thai gym.

Phuket King Muay Thai is recognised by the Sports Authority of Thailand with a 5 star rating and is fully eligible to support your DTV application. We provide all required gym paperwork and official invitation letters for customers who purchase any course of 6 months or more, at no extra charge.
Once you have purchased your course, simply let us know which embassy you will be applying through and provide your passport details. We will prepare your documentation and guide you through the process.

Please note the visa is awarded at the discretion of individual embassies. We will support you every step of the way but cannot guarantee the outcome.

1. General Requirements:

  • Passport or Travel Document: Valid for at least 6 months from the date of
    intended entry and exit from Thailand.
  • Passport-sized photograph: Taken within the last 6 months, on a white
    background.
  • Document Indicating Current Location: Proof of your current residence, like a
    passport stamp or residence permit. (Must be outside Thailand)
  • Proof of sufficient financial assets: At least 500,000 THB in bank statements,
    payslips, or a sponsorship letter. (any currency)
  • Visa application form: Online, completed and signed
  • Visa fee: Payment proof is required

2. Documents for Specific Purposes Soft Power, ‘Muay Thai Visa’

  • Proof of payment from Gym: Receipt
  • Gym Registration Card: From the owner of the gym
  • Gym owners ID card:
  • Letter of invitation from gym: A letter inviting you to train at the Gym for the period of time (min 6 months)
  • Sport Authority Certificate: Certificate proving the gym is registered with the sports authority.
  • Training schedule: This is optional, we will provide.

3. Other Important Notes:

  • Online Application: Most Thai embassies now use an online visa application, You can access this but submission must be done outside of the Kingdom.

  • Appointment Booking: You may need to book an appointment for document
    submission.
  • Processing Time: Processing times can vary depending on the embassy.
    Between 3 – 14 days is usual.

Once you have purchased your course, simply send us an email or WhatsApp message requesting your paperwork. We will process and send all documentation to you within 1 working day, free of charge.
Please note that application success depends on individual embassies. If you are unsure what is required, we recommend contacting your embassy directly before applying.

All DTV courses are non-refundable.
